I don't know how widespread this is, but my DirecTV has no sound on the first ten or fifteen minutes of Jeremiah. So if you're TiVoing it, you might want to check, and possibly grab the Showtime West showing so you'll still have it reasonably soon...

Weird, the sound was fine on my DSR6000 for both episodes shown on SHO last night...

Rob,

A few people reported it in the Directivo forum. I had it too for the first two minutes. Must have been a problem switching from DD 2.0 to DD 5.1. I started the recording manually on my other Tivo in the bedroom and it had sound from the get go. About a minute later the one in the LR kicked in.

Ok, I wanted to see the 830-1000 last year episode and that had NO sound the whole time. and it doesn't show up playing in the future.

What is going on here?

also missed the first 15 min of audio on the new one.

I had no audio for both episodes. I would assume this only effected people who had their Tivos in Dolby Digital mode so if you weren't using Dolby Digital, it worked fine for you.

I'm recording the season premier AGAIN tonight but I was hoping to get to see the series premier. I've never seen any episode of this show and it's not available to rent on DVD. :(

There is no new episode tonight--it is a rerun of the season premiere.

New episodes will be on Friday nights.

I thought it was pretty obvious that by new episode I meant the season premier (as opposed to the series premier which they are not repeating again this week).

New episodes every Friday night? So I've missed one?

I'd been picking up old Jeremiah episodes for SO long that it was kind of second nature to delete the episodes that showed up in the to do list. I did...and I guess I deleted the season premire. I'm a dork. :)
