Hey All,

I'm sure I'll get yelled at for asking this, but my Tivo Series 1 (the old 14-hour Phillips classic - well maybe not 14 hours anymore...) is running v3.0-01-1-000 of the Tivo Software...

Why hasn't it been upgraded?? I see they're running all the way up to 4.0 now. Is that because it's an old Series 1 or what's the deal!!!

Just so you don't feel so bad, my S1 DTivo was just upgraded from 2.5.2 to 3.0 two weeks ago.

So I guess it's luck of the draw as to whether you get the service upgrades!!

Is Tivo doing software updates on Series 1 Tivos still??

No. Series one is using 3.0 while Series two is at 4.0.
