Cops on Court TV last night

Ok who watched cops on court TV last night?

There were 3 episodes I think this was the 2nd one in NYC.

They did this reverse sting plan, where the goal was to catch pick pockets and muggers who hang out in the subway stations.

The plan had a Policemen play the mark (a drunken passenger) who stumbled around in a remote part of the station. Meanwhile he'd strapped on every thing they had in the police property room that look'd worth stealing (i.e. fake rolex, pager etc).

The other police would watch (out of site) until a person tried to relieve the mark of his jewelry and possessions. Then they would appear to arrest both men (the cop who is acting drunk) and the person that tried to rob him.

It was really silly.

I remember that one from when it originally aired! Great sting! I think they "arrested" both men so other criminals woulnd't get wise to teh scam.

What cracked me up, was the cop playing the drunk having to stand there swaying while these people robbed him. And then having to accuse the guy of taking his property while still acting intoxicated.

the stings are IMO the best cops. The other stuff can get old. Is there a reason why a lot of people (unfortunately men) aren't wearing shirts when they are arrested? Is it just a trailer trash thing to not be wearing a shirt?

I would say it is a lack of AC.
