mfs 2.0 want file system in mount

Hi,
I am trying to upgrade my system to add a new drive and am dead in the water right off the bat. When I boot the MFS 2.0 CD I got form the Hinsdale instructions, the mount command asks for a file system when I attempt to mount my FAT 32 (Windows 2000) disk. Nothing I hav tried 'fat', 'vfat', etc is supported by the kernel.
What am I doing wrong!

I had a similar error. turned out i did not have the partition defined. ie I was using /dev/hda not /dev/hda1. Good luck

Thank you. That was the problem. The instructions listed under MFS 2.0 posting are incorrect. I used the ones listed under the Hinsdale and they worked like a charm.
