Removed feature of search

Why did the search change? It used to be that when searching by username, it would show links to the actual posts by that user. Now it just has links to the threads.

I used this to get links to my own posts and then see what was posted after mine. Now it just takes me to the beginning of the thread.

Could you please change this back?

In the SEARCH AREA look under OPTIONS on the bottom left. Select the option for "Show results as posts". Currently set this way as the default to save on search queries.

Yes, but I actually like it the other way. :) Takes me right to the post that has my serach words. :)

I like it the other way too. Now I'm going to have to always remember to select the "as posts" option. :(

If this reduces load on the server, OK. But I can't even imagine a circumstance in which seeing only the thread would be more useful than seeing both the thread and the actual post containing my search terms.
