tivoweb problem

when I try to look at episode info by going to search then typing the name of the show then click the episode name I keep getting this error

this i think is a ui (user interface issue), you need to update the ui.itcl file , the file is in /var/hack/tivoweb-tcl/modules/.. the updated one that i think works with tivoweb 1.9.4 is here:

http://www.tivo.kitschcamppalace.org.uk/00ui.itcl.txt

download this file and rename it ui.itcl then ftp it to the above directory on your tivo. this i did on a series 1 uk tivo , but i'm sure it is the same for others, i'm a bit new to all of this so maybe worth confirming.

WARNING: i have just noticed looking at the uk forum that the ui.itcl file above that i linked to is a UK specific one, so you will need to find one for your region.

Actually, it's not UK specific, this should work on ALL TiVo's AFAIAA.

I'm running tivoweb 1.9.4 on a hughes dtivo and my web remote image is the same as the text. It's not a big deal, but just bugs me. What file(s) do I need to change, or make sure I have. Is anyone else having this problem?

Sorry, can you explain what you mean by this?

If you mean that when you select the Web Remote entry from the menu, you get something like this rather than this? Note there is a link at the top to switch between the two....

That's what I mean. When I click the link, it just gives me the text image again.

Hmm. Not sure why that may happen. I'll check tomorrow what files should be where - I'm away from home right now) - maybe it's missing the png file. Are you using a browser which can show png files?

Yeah, using ie 6. I've checked on 3 pcs and same thing, it just shows the text remote no matter which one I click on.
