BTW I finally managed to backup my tivo and load the image on my old PC HDD... so that leaves me with my orginal HDD untouched in case things go wrong... I had some prob due to the fact that my PC HDD was 40021mb and not 40027mb which is the standard size for the tivo quantum... so I had to use mfsrestore -s 55 instead of -s 127...
