I don't care what people think, but I think Boston Public is a pretty good show. Now with Dennis Miller making an appearance, I'm pretty impressed with the way he is portraying his character. Usually, I have to study up a week in advance in current events to follow him!

This episode seems to turn a corner for me. It shows that Boston Public is not burned out and still has some great stories to tell.
Dennis Miller imho is a casting genuis for this show. Great character to put in the mist of things. Also good about tonights show::
Goober has a new girlfriend so now they can get off that stupid story of him trying to hunt down Marilyn.
No sign of Jesus tonight.
The past two shows....count em....have had no unnecessary musical interludes.
Looks to me like the show is getting back on track.

While I've been a steady fan of the show, you certainly put your finger on a few of the more annoying plot lines. Thanks.

I will second and third the previous opinions! Dennis Miller was really good in the smug money worshiping role, a role that comes so natural for him. It actually made the show enjoyable. I was so glad the singing was no where to be seen.

I've also enjoyed the show all along. Even with some of its sillier plotlines it's still head & shoulders above 90% of the rest of the fare. Based on his first appearance, I'd like to see Dennis Miller's character become a permanent fixture.

I'm glad Scott's finally found someone. But not as glad as Marilyn! :)

I'm just glad Guber's new GF has both her hands! :D

I saw my first BP episode in awhile this week and thought it was good, despite a passionate dislike of Dennis Miller. If you all agree it's a worthy season, maybe I'll catch it in repeat once JAG goes into reruns.

Since it's David E. Kelley, I suspect Guber's new lady friend is either his cousin, a transvestite, or someone who wants to open an animal rights charter school. :)

I have my TiVo set for new episodes only, but I read NYTimes article about reruns, and Boston public ran none last year, so I doubt they will again. Kinda sad, I missed the 3rd episode this season do to a power failure, and the show doesn't seem popular enough to find on Kazaa.

Indeed, looking at next weeks show description, scotty gets upset that his new girlfriend wont stop seeing other men...
