I wonder when DirecTV will clog up some more bandwidth with this waste of space.
Gambling Channel
That link is dated, so it may not be valid after a day or to.

Actually, that sounds like a great idea. I know I'd watch it. I have a "wishlist" for Poker and Las Vegas on the Tivo. Also, with all the viewers that the WPT and WSOP has, I'd say there is an audiance for this.

I'd definitely be on board with this channel. Hope DirecTV does pick it up!

Definitely I would watch. They can dump WE, Oxygen, Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network and lots of other crap if they need to.

I'd give it a look-see for any quality programs. They can dump ESPN, FOX NEWS and lots of other crap if they need to.

I've been recording all sorts of stuff about Vegas since putting down my deposit for the TiVo Community convention next year.

I'm all over this channel, and I hope DirecTV picks it up at launch. I watch all the poker shows, so that doesn't hurt either...
There's obviously a market for this type of a channel.

Gee, I'm outnumbered 6 to one. :)

I guess you'll have to make that 7 to 1. It's a lucky thing you didn't bet on it.

At least the house always wins and this channel can support itself instead of leeching bandwidth from the pool for free like some other stations.
I wish DirecTv would group all the paid advertising/shopping stuff together, though--make it easier to delete the new ones.

YAHOO! Loved the WPT, I was addicted and it actually inspired me to learn Texas Hold Em. I would definately watch a Gambling Channel.

Will we get to see the look on peoples faces after they have the shirts taken off of their backs?

I'd watch any decent poker content.

I got polled on this channel a couple weeks ago. Interesting.

I hope DTV picks this up... sounds great
(although I can just imagine the MILLIONS of ads for Randy White, Larry Ness and other Vegas Scamdicappers)

Guess a lot of peeps do not feel it's wasted Bandwidth. Just goes to show you, One person's waste of space is another's prime programming ;)
101 flavors of ice cream makes the world go around :p

I definitely don't think the original poster got the intended reaction he was expecting ;)

Or in other words, "Millions of people have been wrong many times before."
Imagine if they took all the fluff out of DirecTv and just gave us the important channels in high bandwidth.

I would have never thought that gambling would be interesting to watch but here is a bunch of people who look forward to an entire channel of it.
Each to their own.
