I have been searching through the forums but have not found an answer to my question.

Can the HDVR2 be upgraded to use my home LAN and broadband connection? I also have a wireless network in the house and don't care how it accesses the broadband connection. I know it can download it's updates from the network, what else will I be able to do if it is hooked in?

I see there is a card you can add into a Series 1 box, but I don't see anything for a Series 2.

I'd also love to know the answer to this one. I've got a couple friends with new phillips dsr7000's (I have one also), and they don't have land lines. haven't heard back from an e-mail I sent to the 9th tee folks...anyone?
