VOID Warranty??

Hi,

Last week, my Philips Stand Alone Hard Drive fried.. Well.. Thankfully, I found this site.. Located an image, inserted a 120gig drive, blah blah blah.. Bottom line is now I have a New and Improved Tivo Stand Alone.

Before I located this site though, I ordered another Tivo Unit through DirecTV for $99. It's the Hughes HDVR2. There's no way I can have a Tivo with 140hours in my Bedroom and a unit with only 30+ hours in my living room connected to my entertainment system.

Here's my Question.. Looking at the Hughes, I do not see any Warranty sticker that would show that you opened the case. Does this unit have one? Perhaps it's on the inside..

The only reason I'm hesitant to go forward with the upgrade is that it's only 3 days old. Perhaps I should wait a few weeks to make sure the unit isn't a lemon?

I can tell you they don't have any stickers that indicate a VOiD Warranty. I say Go for it you will not regret it.
You could get up to 120 Hrs just by upgrading the 1 drive to 160GB.

OK.. I guess I'll order the mounting bracket from weakness and look for the best deal on HardDrives.. I think Accessmicro still has a great deal on the 120gig SEAGATEs... ($92).. I used it for my Philips.. VERY QUIET drive.. I also use them for Xbox upgrades...
