My Tivo's clock Sprung Forward!!
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)
Posted by: Turtleboy
After correctly handling the time change this weekend, my Tivo's clock sprung forward an HOUR TODAY!!
All my recordings are wrong! It now says it's 6:05 and not 5:05. It was right and now it's wrong!
Forcing a call did not fix things.
Help me, TiVo!

Did you try to reboot?
Posted by: Turtleboy
No, I'll give that a try.

This happened to a bunch of us. We have another thread in the Help forum.

I've called in, rebooted, and gone through Guided Setup, and nothing is working....
Any other ideas???

uh oh..... I'm in L.A., away from my TiVo... There is no way I'll be able to tell if my TiVo did this until I get home later Friday night....

Jeff, a small number of customers who were part of a beta program were affected. The issue is fully resolved now (as detailed in the thread listed by JuryDuty above). Hopefully you weren't one of the small fraction who experienced this issue. Apologies to those beta testers who were bit by this.

Thanks... I read that thread after I posted.. I'm not a beta tester, so I am A-OK. :)
Thanks for the follow up. :)

I don't understand why these people are so mad. I thought the point of a beta tester is to expect the unexpected. Unless they didn't realize they weren't part of any beta test, but that doesn't make sense at all.

Seems this problem affected folks who may currently be in a beta OR were previously in one. Kudos for the Tivo team for tracking this down so quickly and getting it resolved!!!

That makes sense, thanks.

I know how you feel - I'm in India at the moment and have been telling everyone here how great TiVo is, and how I'm not missing any of my favorite programs. Think I'll just keep quiet!!!

I just went through guided setup which took about 20 minutes (I remember when it took over 4 hours) to fix it.

I went through Guided Setup again to fix it as well. At least it was running correctly after Guided Setup completed.

So, I assume this was S2 only if it was 'recent' beta users?

It probably is for "S2" There is more then one type of "S2" out there, so it's anyones guess.

Does this mean we might see USB 2.0 support soon?
Thanks.
