Missed 24!! Help!

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: kenh918

I was playing around setting other things to record for tonight and somehow I told my TiVo not to record 24... (completely my fault)

It's doesn't look like it's going to be airing again...

Could someone send me a VHS (or DVD, or whatever) of tonights episode (the first one ... 1:00-2:00 PM) I would greatly appreciate it.

I would be more then happy to pay for shipping and whatnot. PM me and we can set up the details.

Thanks alot,

Ken

me too!! I set my SP for the wrong Fox--what a dolt!! the only show I've really been looking forward to. I can't believe this.

Download it.

First, go to this website and download and install Azureus (a bit torrent client): http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

Then click here to start downloading:

http://suprnova.gunny.org/torrents/...vcd-ffn.torrent

if that doesn't work try:

http://suprnova.gunny.org/torrents/...(XSVCD).torrent

Check http://www.suprnova.org/ for any other missed shows. You can use http://novasearch.net/ to search for other episodes.

Thanks... seems to be working, I'll know in 14 hours :)

Impressive that the show just came on last night and you already download it.

I think that they have re-aired the first episode of each season before the 2nd episode airs. Keep an eye out for that if you don't want to do the bit-torrent thing...

Currently, there are no encores scheduled for 24 on television (FOX or FX).

I have been kicking myself for many months (as have my daughters) for accidentally deleting the Buffy season finale after it was on some time back. I think if was on 5/20. I have a wishlist set for keyword "buffy 5 20", hoping to find it. May need to change that, but any suggestions on downloading or finding this next time its on?
Thanks much.

Yeah, it'll probably be on the DVDs for that season. Hope that helps.

Wow... Off topic but... You probably aren't aware that FX is running, in sequence, 2 episodes a day, during the week. They come on at 3 and 4pm locally to me (Central Time zone) and are repeated the following morning at 6 and 7am. For example, this morning they showed "Selfless" at 6am and "Him" at 7am, which were the 5th and 6th episode of Season 7 (the final season) of Buffy. This afternoon will be "Conversations with Dead People" and "Sleeper", which were episodes 7 and 8 (which will be repeated Thursday morning).

At this rate, the episode you are looking for, 7x22 ("Chosen") will appear on FX at the 4pm (Central time) showing on Monday, November 10th. I would suspect that to be repeated early Tuesday morning, November 11th, but the zap2it.com guide data ends on the 10th.

Side note: The FX Buffy Marathon on Halloween will be from 7am Eastern (6am Central) through 5pm Eastern (last episode starts at 4pm). The episodes featured will be random episodes across seasons with a primarily Halloween theme, from "Teacher's Pet" (season 1) through "All the Way" (Season 6).

Here's a thread (in the SP alerts section) to inform you that there will be a 24 encore Thursday at 9pm Eastern (8 Central):
10/30 Fox Primetime - Skin encore to be replaced by 24 premiere encore

Thanks very much everyone--I'll see this one way or the other.

Wow...I still have the season finale of Buffy. If only I had a standalone DVD burner (or a card to connect to my computer.)

That advice was much appreciated, will be nice to finally get that after screwing it up over 6 months ago. Glad I finally posed that question.

With regard to 24, they have always repeated those episodes, so I'm sure it will be on over the next week. Hopefully that gets me back on topic!

Enjoy.

Fox, just ran an ad for an encore presentation of this week's 24, tomorrow night at 9pm. It's also now listed on the Fox website.

Dang it! You beat me to it! I was just about to say that!

Well the download finished last night around midnight... I haven't watched it yet, but I spot checked it and it seemed to have worked great... although it seems as if FOX will be playing it again tonight so it was kinda a moot point ( I'm gonna record that one also in case something goes wrong). Anyway thanks Volk for the downloading info, that'll be good for future reference. And thanks firerose818 for offering to send me a copy.
