"Uncut" movies on A&E

OK, can someone explain to me what is the deal with A&E saying tonight's airing of Reservoir Dogs is "uncut" when it clearly is cut?

I thought the exact same thing. They did let a lot through but the F word was cut out a lot. I was surprised that the D word got through, but I guess maybe they are referring to it being cut for time or something like that.

Whereas I saw Bob Fosse's "All That Jazz" on PBS about 10 years ago... profanity, breasts, and open-heart surgery, all uncut.

Yeah I think they mean that no scenes are removed or shortened. But they feel free to blank out obscenities.

FX did the same when running "Boogie Nights". None of the scenes were removed or shortened, but certain words were muted and graphics were "creatively" placed on screen to cover things up.

Maybe it's a Clintonian definition of cut... "I did not take scissors to that movie."
