Who's got it on their season pass list? I've just added. Wonder what the catch is? IMO, a couple of those 'Average Joe's' didn't look half bad. :)

Looks really interesting, I got a SP. It will be interesting to see how she reacts, and what exactly she is told of who she is going to meet.

Let's hope some of these guys are really geeky, and awkward at romance.

I set up a season pass for it, and hubby nearly died... I think he's embarrassed that it's going to be on the TiVo - even though our TiVo is not up for public display...

I hate most of these reality shows, but I have to at least watch a few of these episodes. It just looks too funny. I want to see her face when she find out about all these guys also.

I love that expression she has in the TV spot. Classic. My wife groaned when I added it to the list. But, she'll be there watching it with me.

Me too. If I find it somewhat entertaining, I'll do an SP. I would think this would require a search for the right type of girl for this. It would have to be someone who looks at the person and is willing to go beyond the cover.

I just hope it isn't something like Joe Millionaire with all the boring details of the date and how they tried to get "intimate". If they start that I'll tune out.

I guess I'm the only one watching this just because Kathy Griffin is hosting. Of course, you'd never know that she's even involved from watching the promos.

I saw it wasn't conflicting anything, so I set up a pass for it too.

They refer to these guys as "average", but it sure seems like definition of "average" took a hit for this show. :p

Maybe it's just the 'Joe Schmo' viewer in me, but I feel as if I've seen the woman somewhere before. Did anyone else think she looked familiar?

She really does look familiar! She was on "Meet My Folks," so that could be it.

Largely, though, I think she may just be sort of ... generic.

I didn't recognize the woman, but I thought one of the 'Joes' looked like a guy in the band No Doubt.

can't wait... Her look in the promos is priceless.. I think the catch is they send in some attractive guys later on and have them try to steal her away from one of the dorks (that is, if she really falls for one of them)

It's weird... when I looked at her bio, it introduces her "Melana Scantlin as Star." Like she's playing a character, not really herself. Is this series a joke on her or a joke on the Joes? I hope they don't treat the whole thing as a joke; it would be fun to see two people actually fall for each other on one of these programs.

Would this work in reverse, do you think, if it were Average Jane instead of Average Joe? Would anyone tune in to see a superficial shallow pretty boy hit the hot tub with your basic average (or even overweight) women? I wonder if this gets good numbers, if they'll do the reverse gender as the Bachelor has done with the Bachellorette.
