People seem to be Poles apart on Threat Matrix, let's have a Poll

I've watched every episode and have enjoyed each one.

People seem to dislike it because it tries to be too politically correct, with one of each race and/or ethnicity.

Others say they dislike it because the high-tech is too techie to swallow.

What do you think?

I think I watched most of the first episode... but I was bored out of my mind for most of it. There was a lot going on, but not a lot of it seemed to matter much. Zero character development or plot development - it was like an hour long TV version of an action flick like "Speed." Plus, I was hoping for either an "Alias" like show or a "Mission: Impossible" style show, and it wasn't much like either.

I never bothered to watch any further episodes - there are enough other programs on.

This past weeks episode was the first one I enjoyed. Thursday's a dead night for TV watching otherwise for me... very little on of interest... so it's not like there's any competition for my attention, unless I'm piddling on the computer or have a DVD I want to watch.

Recorded every ep but haven't watched one yet.

I've liked each and every episode.

I watch it only because it's in HDTV with DD 5.1 audio.......... So place me in Mid Ground. ;)

I had watched every episode. On Thursday I watched TM and recorded Tru Calling.

After Thursday's episode I decided I was loosing interest to the point where I didn't care anymore.

Canceled Season Pass.

I forced my way through the first episode with great difficulty. It was just too silly; there was no substance, just a situation. And I have truly come to loathe sit-drams (like West Wing has regrettably become).

My wife and I both like this show. I was really surprised at how little most of the people who posted in the thread for the Pilot cared for it.
The show's got great visuals, which must look awesome in HD (curse Adelphia Cable!).
The acting is good, the guys are tough, the girls are cute (and tough) and the bad guys are bad. What more do you want in an action packed TV show?

Come on, I watched MacGuyver back in the day - Threat Matrix is easily as good :)

One thing - I didn't notice that the cast was overly diverse until some people here pointed it out. Now that I know about it I do believe it was intentional, and yeah, that bugs me, but I still think all the actors are capable and do a good job, so, no big deal - the PC Police can have their way with this one.

The underly diverse tv show, Friends...bugs me. But I don't know if it's intentional :D

Macgyver "taught" something... creativity, if not accurate science all the time.

Threat Matrix looks nice in HD, but listening to it sometimes is difficult. :)

The first few episodes had way too much in the way of "every answer at your fingertips" in the technology. The most recent episode seemed to lack use of that crutch for the story, which is why I thought it better than the rest.

Wow, you want to see another prime example of that..........check out Las Vegas. Great show and I have a SP set for it, but there was one scene in particular a couple weeks back where they directed a spy in the sky camera to angle down and look thru a corner of this player's tinted glasses so that casino security could see what he was seeing. TALK ABOUT A REACH!!!
