Hi Folks,

I'm in the end stages of upgrading my HDVR2 Directivo unit with a Weakness 2nd hardrive and fan kit. I'm at the end stage here and his directions say to remove the original fan from the back of the Tivo unit and use the original screws to mount the Twin Breeze fan however these screws are too short for the new fan to be connected? Everything has gone great so far but here's were I got stuck. Are the new fans from Weaknees different than what they used to be and these screws no longer work? Should I leave the original fan or use 4 of my own screws. Again, trying to follow weaknee's directions to the letter so I hope someone can give me a quick suggestion here!

Hi guys...sorry for the post...i think got it....I just had to screw the screws in really hard...it was a tight fit!

Are you sure you have the fan oriented the right direction? There are two small arrows embossed on the side of the fan - one should point out the vent holes toward the back of the unit.
