i used the weaknees instruction to upgrade my hdvr2 and its was pretty simple. i installed the drive and the twinbreeze kit with no problems. my question is, i used a 120 gig hard drive that was preped for an xbox :-), and i am using it as a b drive. i followed weaknees's instruction and all i had to do for the entire upgrade is do that mfsadd command (i choose the no backup option) so does the tivo automatically format the hd for use or was it up to me to format the hd before i stuck it in the tivo. btw the tivo reports as 141 hours. thanx guys

mfsadd does everything required to integrate the drive into the TiVo.
