I have a Series 1 Sony, just upgraded to a larger "A" drive, followed Hinsdales cheat sheet, it worked flawlessly. I want to be able to telnet in, however, the command to start the telnet daemon keeps disappearing from rc.sysinit. I've only added it to partition 4, since the backup/restore did not create a partition 7. I've double checked rc.sysinit to make sure the command is there after running JOE, but it's not there after I boot up the Tivo. Looks like it gets overwritten since the file date reverts back to the original date.

Any ideas?
