I have a usb adpt and a new pioneer tivo hooked up. We dont have a phone line here, so how can I get this to work off the broadband connection??

I tried the prefix ,#401, this did not work, I am stuck on the phone screens.

Tivo posted info on their website stating that a phone line is needed for the first setup call after that Tivo will setup the ethernet to be used for the Guide Data and Software updates. You may want to bring the unit over to a friends for a night use that phone and your done.
