My Personal TiVo Army is Growing!

Ok, what's a personal TiVo Army? Anyone that owns a TiVo because they learned about it from you, or you're someway directly responsible for them owning/using a TiVo.
Gett'n close to two years since I joined the TiVolution. But finally my army is growing, small, but I'm on a roll. At the minute, there are two installed privates!
Suddenly, 4 more are ordering TiVos this week! Counting myself, that's 7 of the 1 million subscribers, and I have a couple more that are on the edge.
Veteran's Day is a perfect day to get the caissons's moving! Build YOUR army today! Go get a recruit and help them join the TiVolution!
Honestly, they will thank you for years to come. Lets help TiVo make 2 millon by Christmas of next year!

So did you install the privates or did they do it themselves? :D

Sadly, most of the people I know have an "Army of One". (they seem to think I am wierd because I personally own 3 of them)
But between mine and them, I have a full squad of 8 of them.

A guy I work with just bought 2 DTiVo's...he finally succumbed to my incessant evangelism!! :D

Not counting myself I have an army of 3 people. One of the 3 people has 3 DTiVos. The other two people have one each.

I have converted three people so far... I'm working on a fourth!

I am up to 10 including me. Some have multiple DTivos (like myself) and some are SA1-2s. I know one of my recruits has been hitting her neighbors pretty hard and I think brought one or two in.

Only 6 so far including mine.

I've gotten 4 and I'm working on 2 more.

Lightweights! I'm up to an army of 9 people (with a total of 12 tivo's) that I've directly influenced, and I know of at least 4 others that were recruited by my recruits and own 8 more tivo's that I know of.
Including my 2 directivo's, that's a total of 21 tivo's in this world that I feel responsible for! Actually, it's more than a feeling - I've personally added hard drives to many of those 22. I should start a business! Oh wait, it's been done.

Three so far with two more in the pipeline :-)

I've never converted even a single person to TiVo-hood. :(
My friends, family and misc. acquaintances seem interested, but it's always "but I don't watch that much TV" or "that's too much money to spend just on TV" or "I don't know, there's that monthly fee...".
I think I need evangelizing lessons.

I was able to get 2 people to buy it :( - but one more very close! Everyone else is just sick of me talking about it :)

Nobody I know wants one, even though I've told them about the pleasures of TiVohood. They mostly say that they don't watch TV very much... certainly not enought to fork about $500+ (this includes the lifetime fee).

C'mon Rob, get back to us when you get in to double figures. :) See my sig. There's some second-generation recruits, too, which I'm not counting ... otherwise soon it'd be "Six Degrees of TiVolution."

I must confess that I started a mini-ReplayTV army, before I saw the light and switched to Tivo. Now I can't get those ReplayTV users to switch along with me. They're too attached to their ReplayTVs.
Oh well, maybe when their ReplayTVs break down they'll switch over to Tivo. :D
