Last 10 minutes of ER blackout

We lost power and missed the end of the 10/13 "Death and Taxes" episode. No chance of setting up for the west coast feed.

What happened?

a little vague here, but one of the big things was the Bob Newhart character shot himself in the head. He made it into the ER, and they were trying to save him until Susan saw it was him. She made everyone stop, and stayed with him until he was gone. That was pretty much the very end, she left.

Romano stopped her on the way out wanting his hand. She just told him it was in the tampax machine in the womans bathroom, and he could get it himself.

If I think of more, I'll add.

Susan also mentioned to Pratt, I think it was, that Chen made it on to a plane to China. During all of this, Susan is wandering around the ER on her way out sort of in a daze.

Can't remember if this was in the last ten minutes or not, but the new nurse and her son left, and her son asked if he could invite a new friend for Thanksgiving dinner. Nurse says yes and her son shows her the X-Ray of his head.

I was wondering about the x-ray as well. And the hand.

Yes that is what the note read. Is there anyone without TiVo who could read it? Is it just me or has ER gotten really hard to understand without TiVO? They keep spewing out rapid fire dialogue about medical procedures with two or three people talking at the same time and I'm left going "WTF?" and rewinding.

Or do I have (name the quote) "long term loss of short-term memory."

Well, I watch it on my tivo, but I've never rewound it. In fact, I don't even have the rewind feature programmed into my universal remote because it was a feature that I never used.

Who here would kill Romano if they had to deal with him in real life? What he is doing CAN'T be defensible in court if someone were to sue. Certainly the sexual harassment stuff is not legal. I know he is bitter about the arm but he was an ass even before that.

Also, who thinks that Chen's parent's just tricked her to get her to China so that she can marry some guy they have lined up for her? She does have that little chocolate thing that her parents are not happy about.

WHERE is Dr. Weaver? Why is she hardly on the show (duly missed). And WHEN are the going to dump Dr. Romano from the ER at least! It is impossible that ER's around the country have a Dr. who is that rude to all his co-workers and patients.
