F/X Buffy Reruns are 90210?

Anyone else trying to record Buffy in syndication on F/X (the morning episodes)?

Anyone else getting 1 ep of 90210 and 1 Buffy instead of 2 Buffies, even though the Tivo guide says Buffy?

I got that yesterday. I haven't been able to check it today. Did they run i, robot today?

Is SMG in the 90210's?

I trust FX as far as I can throw it (whatever that means...). At this moment I'm watching a recorded suggestion that is labeled as Nightmares but is actually the Talent Show episode (whatever it's called). FX has terrible guide data much of the time.

As I walked out the door today, the 7 AM episode was 90210.

I don't know what ep they showed at 8.

Do they show the final season of Buffy in reruns yet?

We missed the last few episodes of Buffy last season...

Yep, I remember flipping through the series finale just a week or so ago on FX.

I've been getting Buffy instead of 90210. Looks like they switched the schedule around to have 90210 at 7am and two episodes of buffy to follow at 8am and 9am.

Though my guide data is not picking up the changes.

I robot was yesterday's 8AM showing and today's was Puppet Show, my suggestions didn't catch any 7AM showings though.'

Edit: after ffwing through, it appears that the show labeled as I robot was actually "Angel". Good ole FX.

They do, but they just finished showing it, so you've got a few months ahead of you before they re-rerun it.

8 and 9?

Damn. I'll have to change that.

My problem is that I have it on manual record, and not season pass for the 7-8 and 8-9, b/c of other conflicts with the afternoon eps.

According to the FX Web Site the schedule has changed. Nice of them to let us know.

What season are the Buffy reruns in right now?

They're finishing up the first season

They didn't let Tribune (Tivo's schedule provider) know either.

I've gotten Buffy instead of 90210 as well (yeah, my guilty pleasure :p ) I thought it was because my recorder hadn't made a phone call in about 10 days. Turns out I had to turn off the call waiting feature in order for a call to go through. Weird...but at least it's fixed.

Yeah sort of a guilty pleasure here too. I'll usually watch in the morning as I'm getting ready for work or trying to get myself out of bed as the case may be. My recorder had made a call yesterday, but still no change as of this morning. Before I left the house this afternoon I forced a call into the service. We'll see if anything has changed.

Maybe I'll start watching Buffy now too. But I see its on a few times a day. Is it out of synch in the later afternoon running compared to the showings in the morning?

The 2 episodes in the morning repeat the two episodes shown the afternoon the day before.

They just started from season 1 ep 1, and are showing them in order. I'm watching it for the first time.

I just bought seasons 1-4 on DVD, so no need to worry about catching them in order.

I've got seasons 5 and 6 on my Christmas wish list, so hopefully those will come in soon.

I don't know yet if I want the Angel boxed sets. I usually watched the crossover episodes, and watched a few of the others, but wasn't an avid Angel watcher. I am watching this season, but that's primarily due to Spike. :D

Hmmm..

Is this an East coast only problem?

Posted by: swizzlest

I'm on the East Coast, and my guide data was accurate this morning. 7AM 90210, 8&9AM Buffy...

Weird.

I just did an update, and my guide data is still wrong.

I have a stand alone. Do you have DirectTv?

Posted by: njtaz

So how do we go about getting the guide data changed? When I check the tv listings at Yahoo they are correct.

Posted by: swizzlest

Ahhhh...

I do have DirecTV.

Posted by: njtaz

I Just checked my To Do List and it looks like it has 90210 in the 7am spot. They must have fixed the guide data.

My tivo records the Detroit Sports Report at 7am every day, and yesterday I turned the TV on, and it was recording on Fox Sports Net, but it was 90210, and it said "fx" in the bottom corner of the screen... kinda weird..

Like someone earlier, I do a 'manual' recording on my DTivo for the morning Buffy episodes to avoid conflicts later (afternoon Angel for one). On Tuesday, the manual picked up one 90210 and one Buffy. On the plus side, it looks like the guide data was correct, because I was expecting the 90210 episode to have guide data for Buffy associated for it.

I looked at the rest of the guide for Buffy and it looks like for THIS week, Buffy is at 7am and 8am (Central), when before the two episodes were at 6am/7am. So, to my 6am and 7am manuals, for this week, I added an 8am manual as well. I'll just delete whatever is extra (which I'm assuming will be the 6am airing which will probably be 90210) until FX gets their **** together. It looks to me like, for next week, they plan on going back to the 'old' schedule.

And yes, I do it as two manual one-hour recordings instead of one two-hour, because only the first episode was being picked up for the 28-day rule when I was recording both as one (to make my NP list shorter), and it would often pick up the second afternoon episode (which aired the day before) as a "Suggestion". :o
