Need Survivor from last night!!!!!
(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)
Posted by: Bryanmc
Long story short I recorded Friends last night instead of Survivor.
Does anybody have it? I'll be happy to pay to get it on a VHS tape and mailed plus whatever service charge would be appropriate.
Please don't put any show details in the replies to this, especially who got voted off, as I am trying very hard to not find anything out until I can watch it.
This could really save my marriage as my wife is not very happy with me right now.
Thanks!!!

Is now the time to bring up the purchase of a second machine for scheduling conflicts? A kind of his and hers preference.

Now may be the time to bring up the need for DUAL TUNERS!

Thanks AndyK! Not only did you ruin this episode, you've blown the rest of the season too! http://www.avsforum.com/ubbtivo/smile.gif

I was working overtime until 11 last night, and tivo got survivor for me... I was planning on watching it tonight, but got up this morning only to see who got voted off doing interviews on some morning television show... They ought to have a spoiler warning.

ahhh, sort of a 'benevolent dictatorship'
note the 'smiley' in the previous post, it wasn't intended
to be a constitution thumping remark...

Since the original poster asked that spoilers not be posted, it was good that they were removed.

VHS mailing box from Wal-Mart is about $1.67. USPS media mail rate is $1.30 one way for up to one pound. VHS tape and box is about 9.3 ounces. I would recommend using a new tape so as not to accidently send your anniversary video.

Sorry. Didn't notice the smiley.
As far as spoilers go...
If someone wants to post spoilers there are 2 ways to 2 it:
1) post a link in your message to a site with spoilers. Give a warning that following the link will lead to spoilers.
2) post a new topic with the warning in the topic message that the topic contains spoilers.
Any other spoilers found will be deleted.
I didn't mean to sound like a dictator, but these are the rules that were 'silently' agreed to during the first season of survivor and those are the rules i'll be playing with for this season (and all future seasons) of survivor.
Thanks,
ybrew

Ybrew, Thanks for deleting the revealing information for those who choose to watch it themselves. One of the benefits is having TiVo grab shows when they change days or times. Another benefit is watching them at our leisure in the order of our choosing without having to fast forward or rewind those tapes.

We have to watch Survivor the night it airs, or it will very likely be spoiled for us. We usually end up watching it an hour or so after it is actually done airing. Even there, it's treacherous to watch CBS before we watch Surivor because they could be promoting the Early Show appearance of the newest rescued castaway.
(This sounds so silly.)

Wow! I can't believe I'm talking about Survivor, but here it is.
I missed it also! My TiVo lost it's data, phone line problems, tried to redial 9 times over the last two days... finally got it.
Just got an update, it's got 2.0 and is indexing for the next seven hours.
Oh well! I'll catch up next week.

So ybrew I see it's ok for someone to threaten to kick my ass but I can't say that **** wins? By the way if everyone wants to know go to www.eyada.com.
Bring it on TRILIGHT I'm only a couple of hours away in Oklahoma.

If anyone happened to go to the link above and listened to the yahoo who claimed to be a writer, all I can say is we don't necessarily have to wait til the strike to have TV shows that "BLOW". Several of them have already sunk well below just blowing, they stink worse than my lupine kennel pooppile during August! JAG being probably the only exception.

I haven't seen or clicked on these spoilers, but I think you're all just overreacting. He was probably wrong anyway.!
Survivor is being done differently this year -- the contestants (and even the WINNER) doesn't know who's won yet!

All of these sites and posters who claim to "know the winner" are manipulating you perfectly as you groan and moan.

iamcds1: Well, I can't argue that you're from Oklahoma. You're knowledge of geography and time are pretty horrible. hehe http://www.avsforum.com/ubbtivo/smile.gif It's much further than 2 hours or I just might! http://www.avsforum.com/ubbtivo/smile.gif As for my big "threat", if you had taken the time to check the message icon I used, it was the same as this one. http://www.avsforum.com/ubbtivo/wink.gif Ybrew obviouly knew that I was playing.
For anyone else: I forgot to mention earlier that I have this episode as well. I know others have probably already responded but if someone needs it, I'll gladly tape it and send it to you.
