I'm glad to see NHLCI will be covering the Heritage Classic game between Edmonton and Montreal, but does anybody know if they will also be showing the "old-timer's" game that takes place beforehand? Like so many other hockey fans, I'd love to see Gretzky back in an Oilers uniform one more time.

ESPN and ESPN 2 will be showing College Football that night, so that rules them out. Center Ice is showing a 7 PM start for the Habs and Oilers...is it possible they will carry the pre-game festivities as well for this historic night?

My guess is no, since my experience with NHLCI is that they are very diligent in starting the broadcast just as the opening statements are made by the announcers and then go into the game. Now if the game is listed as Montreal vs. Edmonton and supposed to start at the time the old timer's game is actually starting, then you might luck out. I can't wait to see this. It should be a lot of fun.
