has anyone here RMA's a WD drive?

I have a WD1200JB that exhibited signs of stopples, then Tivo was stuck at "powering up" one morning.
I pulled the drive, WD quick diagnostics found nothing, WD extended diagnostics got about 3/4 through, then hung for several hours. Now the drive either isn't recognized at boot-up, or when I get into WD diagnostics it is totally unresponsive.
I'm obviously going to have to do an RMA, since the drive has only been in my possession less than 8 weeks. My concern is that I wasn't able to get an error code from the diagnostics. Will the cause a problem when I try to RMA it?
thanks in advance

In my history, you can go to WD's webpage, and get an RMA via the website without really giving specific problems or EVER talking to an employee. It's pretty sweet. They ever cross-ship when you provide them with a credit card number.

pyrite504 is correct. I just did this a couple weeks ago. I pulled the failing 120 Gig WD drive from my Tivo and did the entire RMA online with WD. I never spoke to anyone. It was very painless. If you provide a CC, they'll cross ship immediately and not bill you unless you fail to return the bad drive.
I was in no hurry, so I just shipped the drive back to Irvine, CA (about a mile from my office) and had the replacement drive in about 10 calendar days.
Good luck.

thanks, I'll do that.
I was just under the impression from everything that I'd read previously, that the RMA required an Error code from the diagnostics.
