I've ordered a Tivo Turbo-net for a friend of mine as a christmas gift, and allow him to use it..

But I want to throw in a few bits of software ect to get him started and the like but Im a little lost as to what I need?

What does the card actuly enabled? other than the abilty to FTP in and backup your drive / recorded shows?

Is there anything I can download to help him first setup the drive and do all the extras that the card allows?
