I just bought a best Buy WD 80gb drive for $49 after rebate.

It says "pre-formatted for Windows". Is this going to be a problem for MFS restore?

No, mfsrestore pays no attention to that.

I'll try it tonight. You saw my other oost about my original drive, hopefully I can get them both working and I'll end up with two drives!!!
