Teach TiVo and 2.0 Upgrade .. Is it worth the time?!

I just dropped a new drive into a DTiVo that died, and used a 2.0 image. My question is: Does anyone know if it is worth the time to go through and thumbs up all of the desired actors in Teach TiVo, or does this data get overwritten anyway when the software upgrades?

It literally takes several hours to go through the complete actors list, and although I know when I upgraded a drive a coupla years ago that it helped my suggestions a lot, I was wondering if the newer software overwrites this data anyway... If I'm wasting my time, I'd rather do something else with my time!

Only problem is this is my wife's DTiVo, so I gotta thumbs up a bunch of girly crap like Doris Day and Cary Grant! :rolleyes:

Actually, though, my wife also likes football often as much as I do -- three games every Sunday and Monday night too. She also is the one with SPs to Alias, CSI, and watches more SciFi than I do like Star Wars and Enterprise. She watches American Chopper and Monster House with me every week. I've got it pretty good!
