After having a few recordings fail because the channel didn't change properly, I got to thinking... Wouldn't it be nice if there was an option for failed recordings so that tivo could automatically re-record the missed recording and delete the failed one? What does everyone else think?

I think it would be a great idea, but in most cases I'm pretty sure TiVo has no idea that the recording failed.

yeah, I know the tivo doesn't know the recording failed... What I would like is another choice like "delete this recording",but say call it "delete recording and re-record" so that when you select it the tivo would know the recording has failed. Then the tivo could delete the failed recording and schedule to record it again.
