Well...I finally made the plunge. Last weekend the wife and I went to Best Buy and purchased a new Series2 80 hour unit (stand alone). We have been very happy with it so far. The setup was a breeze, activation went smooth, and it is already suggesting shows for us to watch. My favorite part? Starting a show about 15 - 20 minutes late and skipping the comericials.

TiVo .... well done!

We had decided to wait and get it for "our" Christmas present.

Christmas came early this year!
Plus we have our first child due in December - figured we better get it hooked up and working before the chaos started!
