Hi,

I have a Philips Series 1 Tivo like the one pictures below, and I can't find the IR reciever for the Tivo to use with my IR blaster (Tivo is installed behind cabinet doors). I got all my other equipment to work fine (6 devices!), but can't find it on the Tivo.

Anyway know where the IR reciever is positioned on the front?

Take a flashlight and shine it on the front panel. There should be some place where you'll see a red transparent opening. That's where the IR sensor is located. Maybe someone with that unit can tell you exactly where it is located.

I think it's behind the round "eye", along with Tivo's IR emitter.
