Best deal on 80HR+HMO+Lifetime? Help...

I am a long time Tivo user (3 years now) and currently have a Tivo Series 2 80HR with HMO. For X-Mas I want to get a second Tivo 80HR with HMO to connect with my other Tivo in my house wireless network (the first Tivo is on a wireless USB.)

1. What currently is the best price on an 80 HR Series 2?
2. My understanding is HMO will be $49.99 since I already own one HMO equipped Tivo that I spent $99.99 on. Am I correct?
3. I will get lifetime again, what is it now $299.99?
4. Other than an HDTV Tivo and the DVD/Tivo combos, are there any hints of the near time frame (ie. less than 3-4 months) release of a Tivo unit, ie. Series 3, that will have features I will be devestated I didn't wait for?

I wish Tivo would offer a special offer to those who want to buy a second Tivo, maybe $50 off or free HMO or something.

well, your correct. there arnt any rumours for S3, so dont count on it.

I actually have a tivo series 2 80 hour with HMO I'm selling... no lifetime.

It's on EBAY right now for $400 + $20 shipping.

Oh and lifetime is $299... And I never heard of HMO for a 2nd unit being discounted. Is this true? Anybody??

Costco has the 80 hour series 2 Tivos for $319 now... I dont know if the $50 rebate works on those though but that would be a good deal.

HMO on a extra TiVos in the house are 50 bucks, that is correct. Lifetime service is now about 300 bucks. No rumors that I've heard about TiVo Series 3... and I've been lookin'. :)
