10% off at all Best Buys this coming weekend? On all products?
Posted by: JoeBarbs
I'd like to know more about this also. Is it all weekend and for all products? Do you need a coupon?

I'd be interested in know more about this too, as I bought one from Best Buy 2 weeks ago, and would see if I can get that lower price.

Go to amazon and sign up for an amazon credit card. also get free shipping and the rebate. Total for 80 hour standalone is $250!

I don't think the 10% off applies to TIVO. Does anyone know for sure???

I received a promotional mailer from Best Buy yesterday with coupons for this weekend, one of which was, and I quote, "10% off any single item $299 and up in these categories: TVs, Receivers, Speakers, Home Theater In A Box, DVD Players, Portable DVD Players, DVR or DVD recorders."
So I'll be picking up the 80-hour Series 2 at $349.99 - 10% - $50 rebate, for approx. $265. It wouldn't apply to the 40-hour, since it's only $249.99.

Amazon has it for 329.99......Apply for their credit card..... -$30.....299.99
$50 rebate....249.99........No tax free shipping.
At Best Buy....don't forget the tax on $349

Saw them at SolidSignal.com for $259.99 (after rebate)
$309.99 at purchase.
No tax, shipping costs not included.

Found this "Tivo 40-Hour Series 2" Deal on the Costco site:
I believe its $219 +$11.36(S&H) minus the $50 TIVO rebate.

Anyone seen anything better for us Holiday shoppers?

Overstock.com has 80 Hours Series 1 for $199 with free shipping.
I've seen a bunch of Series 2 40 hours go for under $199 on EBAY (some as low as $120!).
My 40 Hour Series 2 is on there for $189 with free shipping ;).

My weekly ad in today's paper (Indianapolis area) shows all TiVos on sale for 10% off. Going there today to PM on the unit I bought there a few weeks ago :)

One of the DirecTV sellers is offering free DirecTiVos for new customers with a one year commitment.

I second that ccwf! You can get a 30 hr two-tuner directivo for FREE as a new subscriber to Directv. You merely have to sign a 1yr programming commitment. I've had D* service for over a year and it is a fantastic value. The PQ on my 32" Sanyo SD tv is simply stunning. I also like the excellent program guide as well as the digital music channels (Been listening to "Sounds of the season" channel alot lately. The adult alternative music channel is terrific as well).

costco is selling the 80 hour units in their warehouses of $319.99 before the rebate. They also have the Pioneer 810H on thier web sit for $779 also before the rebate.
