During the upgrade to a larger drive other than making the swap bigger anybody adjust the partition size? Say partition like /var anybody have a need (or run into a situation) to make it bigger to put hack program?
If you do how big did you made? Is there such thing of don't wanna be to big (like the swap bigger doesn't mean better)?

It's not a good idea to make /var too much bigger. If you want somewhere to store hacks, make a new partition between copying the drive and running mfsadd. You can then format it Ext2 and mount it into your TiVo's filing system.

Any idea the size of partition #10 size suppose to be?
I ran pdisk and it showed up as 256M the same exact size w/ at least another user (based on his posting) but somebody else seems to think that partition should be 512MB in size (or at least didn't recall seeing it before) instead.

I think you're supposed to have 1Gb of MFS Application Regions, either as one large partition or two smaller ones, depending on your configuration.
I don't think a TiVo /needs/ anything like 1Gb of space in the MFS App partitions - I don't think there's more than 100Mb of actual data in there, although I don't know how you could shrink those partitions without breaking the TiVo.
