Can you upgrade the RCA Scenarium

I just purchsed a RCA Scenarium that has a 40 gig hard drive. I bought it because I didn't want to pay the 12.99 p/mo TiVo service (no offense i'm cheap) I'm waiting for HD TiVo though, anyways. My question is has anyone upgraded this unit and if so is it just like upgrading the TiVo. Thanks a lot!
