but it's not being displayed and the website from Cox Communications doesn't have any info. Supposedly MTV2 is being added to the extended basic, but I can't find any info. Could this be an error on the part of the update from Tivo?

It could be. But my cable co (Adelphia) usually takes weeks to update their own website. Maybe check TVGuide.com since that's a different data provider to see what they say? Also, just tune in the channel...what is it showing?

TiVo would VERY rarely change the data until AFTER the switch is made. So if it's not showing MTV2 now I'd say it's a TiVo goof.

If so, confirm with your cable co and then email lineup@tivo.com to tell TiVo.

yeah, it's not showing anything. I'm getting the Tivo blue screen of death. :)

I'll have to confirm with Cox. I'd love to have MTV2, but sadly, it's probably a mistake.

You can always unselect the channel in the channels you receive list until you determine it is on.
