OK, I'm really in the dog house. If anyone can bail me out I would appreciate it.

I was reading the forum, and saw the warning about missing the Survivor Reunion show, because the name was different. So I deleted my Wife's SP for Survivor on our Local CBS, and set up an Auto Record Wish list for the keyword "Survivor" and Sub Topic of "Reality Based" I did everything right, except one thing. I forgot to move it up the priority list from dead last.

So Tivo#1 did not record the show. I got a kids cartoon instead.

Normally this would be OK, because I know how important this ONE AND ONLY show is to my wife. Tivo #2 also has a Keyword Survivor on it. However, as everyone knows every so often these DTivo's forget what channels you have and by default selects everything for you. So, TiVO#2 tried to record Survivor on the National Feed of CBS instead of my local feed of CBS.

I even tried calling DTV to ask them to turn on West Coast CBS for a few hours. He said he would get fired if he or anyone else messes with the "distant" programming selection. He seemed very sympathetic and not trying to blow me off.

Does any know know of a stream somewhere, where one might go fishing for this lost episode.

Go to Google and search for survivor and "tv torrents" You'll need a bittorrent client, it will probably be up there later tonight.

If that doesn't work for you, someone here (myself included) probably still has it and would be willing to send you a tape via snail mail. It probably wouldn't get there before Sunday's finale and reunion, but it might keep you out of the dog house.

When I missed one earlier this year I went to the alt.binaries.multimedia newsgroup and downloaded it the night after. Not the best quality but certainly watchable (and no commercials).

Thanks for all of your suggestions. Looks like alpo for me.

My ISP News Server does not allow alt.binaries.multimed (assume same group you mentioned).

I could not find tv torrents of that show. Must not be that popular of a torrent.

She'll get over it eventually.

This is maybe our second Tivo snafu in about 2 years. We can live with that.

Paul, hang in there, a Torrent for this is bound to show up, it is one of the more popular shows in the Torrent scene.
