When you first set up your DirecTivo, you must go thru the satellite setup and then call DirecTV, where they send some codes and set your service up.

Is this information stored in files on the hard drive? Is is transferable to a previously-made backup? That is - if I restore a hard drive image I made (before setup began - virgin image out of the box), will I have to go thru the setup process again?
