Wife won't stop deleting recordings!

Consider this the unofficial anti-Wife won't delete recordings thread.

Well, basically my wife won't stop deleting TiVo Suggestions -- she hates a full To Do List of stuff we'll probably never watch or have watched.

I keep telling her: "Honey, TiVo will clean up suggestions itself!" But she won't listen.

AND...we have 2 DTiVos, each >100 hours! :( So it's not like we're running out of space.

Actually the 2 DTiVo thing has caused some problems. The tv in our office/finished basement is also connected to the upstairs DTiVo via a RS A/V sender/receiver. So the other day (can you see this coming?) my wife was blissfully deleting stuff downstairs and unknowingly deleting stuff upstairs (she had left the upstairs TiVo on the DTV Central screen and the downstairs remote started controlling the upstairs TiVo in addition to the downstairs one). Yikes!

I wish I could convince her to just relax and let TiVo take care of deleting stuff....

Any similar stories out there??

C'mon, she's only deleting the things from the todo list that cost $5.99 for 45 minutes.:p :D

I wouldn't like it if my wife deleted suggestions. That's my barometer for how much space I've got left. Tamper with that, and you don't really know how low you are.

Since you have two TiVos you should have a HIS and HERS. This calmed down most of the TiVo snarls in my house. Messin with the other's TiVo carries the DEATH PENALTY.

What are you doing married if you have a Tivo? The Tivo probably gives you more satisfaction anyway.

You need to swap wives with the guy from that other thread.
