Okay, Im using the Hinsdale step by step and i'm stuck.

1st - Since I downloaded an image, where do I put it? Do I put it in the C drive root folder?

2nd - I get to the part where I type in mount/dev/hda/mnt/dos and it wont do anything. Then I go to mfsrestore and I type in the #mfsrestore -i/mnt/dos/tivo.bak/dev/dhc and all it does is show the options menu. I have no clue what I've done but I'm about to throw the thing out the door.

Someone please help! :D

you should have spaces in those commands, not all typed together.

Assuming you have your tivo.bak image on the C: drive and in the root directory of C:, then here would be the commands (I have put space where you should use the space bar)

mkdir space /mnt/dos

mount space /dev/hda1 space /mnt/dos

mfsrestore space -i space /mnt/dos/tivo.bak space /dev/dhc
