Network Icons

Can anyone shed some light on the network icons appearing next to the shows in the Now Playing Menu? Sometimes there is an icon of the network the show was recorded on, sometimes there's not. It's strange!

Does anyone know if you can set it to always show the icon?

UPN dosnt usually show its icon, or VH1 (that is, on my HDVR2)

On the standalone TiVos, when a network has an icon, it means there was some kind of advertising deal struck between them and TiVo. You may notice that all of the networks in the Showcases section have an icon.

I have noticed other channels with an icon that are not in the showcases. I would think that it's the networks that provide such data. It seems to be involved with the TV Guide - whichever channels provide it, and upon recording, TiVo includes it if available. I could be wrong though, just a guess.

If you look around in the UK and Underground forums, you'll find sets of user-contributed channel icons for those interested enough to install them on their TiVos.
