Who has Pioneer Elite DVR-57H?

I just ordered a Pioneer Elite DVR-57H as an early Christmas present to our household. ( hopefully will be here tomorrow ). I'm new to Tivo, but not to PVRs. I have a Dish PVR710 ( 90 hour ) that I want to hook up to the 57H.

Does anyone else have a Dish PVR 710 hooked up to a DVR-57H?

Is the S-Video a pass through or should I buy a S-video switch and if so, who makes a high quality passive switch?
