I have a Hughes S1 That was upgraded with a second drive, well the original Quantum drive failed, I want to restore my Tivo.bak file to my second drive and use it as my only drive and I will remove the failed drived. My problem is when I try to mount drive
mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/dos I keep getting an message "Unable tp read boot sector" "You must specify File System"

any help??

Try:

mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt

then your backup file is at:

/mnt/tivo.bak
