It's all my fault--I totally blew this one.

I decided to upgrade our 5-month-old DirecTivo Hughes DVR3 (DVR2 on the label) with a 160GB. I used Hinsdale's option 3 for backup since I was replacing the drive, but (and this is typical of me) I swapped the input and output parameters.

I booted using the MFStools CD with the original 40GB on primary master and new 160GB on primary slave, and CD on secondary master, where:

hda is the existing drive
hdb is the new 160GB drive

I entered the dd command:
dd if=/dev/hdb of=/dev/hda bs=1024k

Of course, this is the wrong the input file... so, how can I restore my DVR2 to a default image?

Okay, I just read a few posts that state that images aren't available. So.... it looks like I'm off to Circuit City to drop $100 on another DirectTivo... I'm an idiot...
