Tivo to Computer To DVD-R

I'm sure there's multiple posts on the forum about this subject, but after several times seraching I couldn't really find anything. I'm basically looking to find a way other than real-time recording via video capture to go from my Tivo Series 2 to my computer and eventually record to my DVD burner. First of all is it possible, and then if it is, HOW?? (sorry for the caps, but I've been searching for a long time). Thanks for any help in advance.

Sure there are ways to do it, but it's against forum rules to discuss it here.

Do a Google search and you'll probably find what you're looking for.

There's lots of cool utilities to stream video from Tivo to PCs - but they can't be discussed here. You'll need to go to the 'other' forum (which can't even be named here without the forum software deleting the reference!).

Sorry for posting, "forbidden topics" thanks for the responses.

We can discuss the analog transfer of video from TiVo, ie a PC with a video capture card.

But the other all digital way is verbotten.

Try Googling 'jjbliss'.

Or you could pick up that DVD-recorder equipped TiVo...

...but I had already invested several grand in a new Apple G5 with a 250 GB HD and a Superdrive (dvd burner) before I saw the TiVo enabled dvd burners.
