What's your experience with dropped channels?

On July 2, my TiVo informed me that my lineup had changed. I was excited to see what my cable company had brought to my television today. I rushed to read my new messages, only to be flabbergasted that Comedy Central had been dropped. I changed the source on my TV and confirmed that Comedy Central was still there. I then contacted AT&T Broadband and they assured me that Comedy Central was a very popular channel and was not being dropped.
OK, a little disappointing, but I figured I would give TiVo some time to clear up the problem. A week went by and nothing changed. (Comedy Central was still available on my service.) I submitted the form on TiVo's website informing them of the problem. After a week, I had received no response. I submitted another form last weekend, and I still have heard nothing.
What's your experience with this situation? Do I just need to be more patient? Should I get on the phone with them? Does TiVo know something that the AT&T Customer Service Reps don't? (As unimaginable as that is - AT&T Reps are oh so knowledgeable!)
What should I do? I miss my Comedy Central!
(FYI: in case anyone who can help is listening, or you are wondering if you're in the same boat, Comedy Central is channel 53, and I have AT&T Broadband out of Wheaton, IL)

I don't trust the online form. Send an email to lineup@tivo.com and give them as much info as is possible (name, address, Tivo service number, phone number, what lineup you have, cable company, zipcode, a detailed description of the problem, anything else that may be relevant, etc, etc)..
Call Tivo support too - 1-877-FOR-TIVO and tell them about it.
