3 days and still no luck what i have is a image file of my hdvr2 that a friend backup for me he is unavabile now i have put the image on a seagate 5 gig hd im trying to restore that image onto a Westerndigital 80 gig i hook up the 5 gig as primary master and the wd 80 gig as primary slave i have tried
all the insrructions i can find do i mount both drives before i restore when i do i get that nagging what filesystem is it ive done it all can some please tell me the commands i need both drives are fat 32 and formated

please help

What happen to the backup you said you had on a burned CD?

GET the hinsdale how to, get rid of the HD, and put the CD in and use that as a mount. Obviously, you have to mount anything to access it. Substitute your drive locations for the standard instructions, pretty easy overall if you read. Noone can just give you a answer, EVERYBODY sets up their stuff differently with drive locations, image files, etc., etc. Searching and reading will give better results, and you cant really mess up if its on CD either, keep trying different combos and commands.........
