Can 2 DVRs work off same Season Pass list?

I've searched both on Tivo and this site, but couldn't find anything. Maybe not the right search terms.
Is it possible (via HMO or not) to own (under same account) 2+ DVRs and have them work collaboratively off the same Season Pass / Do List? Or do I still have to decide how to parse my programming selections among the 2 boxes and then hope I do it wisely enough such that I don't miss a program due to a conflict on 1 box that could have been avoided by recording 1 of the conflicting shows on the other box.
What's interesting (in a good way, mostly) about Tivo is how fractal it is. I answer 1 question only to beget another.

No. But it would be neat. Maybe someday.

I agree. This is something that TiVo has hinted they've been working on for a while now (I think the first hints came from TiVolution a couple of years ago). Whether the implementation will ever be good enough to give us remains to be seen, but it is certainly the direction they're going in with HMO.
(There are things like FSI and TeachTiVo that TiVo has implemented and tested, but decided against releasing, at least in the originally implemented form)

Yes, collaborative scheduling is a “killer” feature that many multi-TiVo owners want. There've been vague rumors of TiVo working on it, as well as some of the folks here and on TiVo hacking forums. It's not an easy problem.
All that's possible now (through a hack) is to automatically let another TiVo record a conflicting program if that TiVo happens not to be recording anything itself at the time.

I predict that TiVo will release some form of cooperative scheduling as part of an HMO service update sometime this year. They've been hinting at it for years, and now that they have the basic network structure in place this is the logical next step.
Who knows, perhaps they'll have some sort of demo at their CES booth tomorrow. :)
