I thought it was just gonna be basically like a digital VCR and it turned out to be so much more! I don't know how I ever got along without Tivo. Thank you for misleading me!

I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to get my first Tivo. What year did Tivo come out in? Is there a webpage that has the history of Tivo, from conception to what it is today?

I would be interested to see how Tivo began. I enjoy a show called "Invent This" on TechTV and was wondering if there are articles or something on the creation of Tivo out there?
